African Christian Community Church (ACCC)

Through God's grace, and with the support of a small core group and our partners, African Christian Community Church (ACCC) was founded in 2003 under the humble leadership of Rev. & Mrs. Calvin A. Birch. The mission of ACCC is to proclaim the message, principles, and values of Jesus Christ to all persons, irrespective of race, gender, ethnic affiliation, or social status. The vision of ACCC is to promote the advancement of God's kingdom through individuals, families, and communities. The church values Christian worship, service to humanity, sound biblical teaching & nurture, Christian fellowship and community building...“I am because you are.”

African Christian Community Church (ACCC)

The Church Covenant

As believers of Jesus Christ we value our Christian heritage and pledge to practice these values in our private and public lives;

The ACCC remains committed to the teachings of the Bible as the principle norm of our faith. Through prayer and spiritual devotion, we shall strive to share in the experiences of all peoples;

We shall continue to seek God’s intervention in personal and national crises. We believe through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, God will restore peace and tranquility to our troubled world.

We believe if “we humble ourselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways, God will hear from heaven, will forgive our sins, and heal our land;”

By God's power we confess our support to the cause of our community, including the African Christian Community Church (ACCC), where human needs and worship of God are the criteria for daily living. As a community of exiles, we are “seeds of faith,” ready to grow in and out of season, to expand the kingdom of God;

We will continue to pray for the welfare of our host nation and the Government and people of the United States. We pray that God will transform every socio- political and economic systems of the world. We pray that God will raise leaders and families that fear God and lead by example;

We confess that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its water roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah.

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the Holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is within the midst of her, she shall not be moved. God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;

He utter His voice, the earth melted. The Lord of Host is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come behold the works of the Lord, who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks bow and cuts the spear in two. He burns the chariot into the fire;

Be still, and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of host is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”
